DA62 Service Centers

Post by janders »

I was sad there wasn't any DA62 posts in the last 10 days, so I figured I'd start one by compiling a list of what Diamond service centers people have used with their DA62.

I know the previous owner of N157DA used South Tec Aviation at KRUQ; he said great things about them.

I've also heard good things about First Wing Jet Center as a Diamond Service Center at KTYQ, but I don't have any experience and I'm not sure how many DA62s they've seen.

I've had good experiences with Premier Aircraft Sale's maintenance arm https://premieraircraftservice.com/ with two annuals, but have been equally impressed by SouthTec Aviation's http://www.southtecaviation.com/ parts delivery as well as technical support when performing an owner assisted annual last month in my own hangar with two highly qualified Diamond/Austro mechanics. Can't go wrong with either of these folks.

For DA62 and other Diamond Aircraft Owners in Europe, I highly recommend Diamond‘s own maintenance facility in Frankfurt-Egelsbach EDFE. Superb service and attention to detail with highly competent team.

Synergy Flight Center in Bloomington, IL KBMI has done all of the service on my DA62; I've got about 800 flight hours on it now. I've maintained the aircraft per part 135, so they know it very well. They are an excellent maintenance shop, and one of the first to be re-certified a Diamond Service Center.

There's a DA62 based at KTYQ.

Yes; my plane is there right now. I was getting the COOL LVL thing after I picked it up from South Tec, so i figured I would test it out and see if they could un INOP my parking brake and help me get rid of my COOL LVL cas message. The people at the First Wing FBO told me that they have a 62 based with their school.

Kerry, the guys at Skill Aviation where I trained also said great things about Synergy.

I trained at Skill, too! Excellent instructors. I had Kilian Bartsch and Jim Ader
