Support for the G2 pencil is excellent. Both easy charging and a place to hold it while in flight.

I use an 11-inch iPad in the cockpit as I found the prior generation mini to be a little small for me (and the 13" iPad to be too big). Also, I usually hold off for a couple months on new Apple products to let the initial rush subside (as well as get an update or two on the new iOS). However, I know the screen area on the new mini has improved to 8.4" diagonal which probably helps some. Will be interested in the PIREPs from those of you who get the new mini! Thanks!
