I'm putting my DA40NG into a flight school and I'm wondering if screen protectors for the g1000 would be a good quick investment? I'm sure people will be trying to use it as a touch screen all the time. Any particular protectors people have found that are great quality and hopefully cheap and easy to apply? I searched screen protector but didn't come up with much. Maybe I just searched wrong...
Thanks all!

Re: G1000 NXi screen protector
I share my plane with two other pilots, so I make it very, very easy for them to use the right products (that I provide) for any cleaning. See my answer to your separate post.
So one solution is to make it easy to clean the G1000 NXI panels with the right product when they inevitably get smudged. It's poor cleaning (e.g. with a paper towel and Windex) that's more likely to damage the display - unless the instructors use keys to point to the display while instructing.

As to G1000 screen protectors, there is also this option (with which I have no experience). https://www.photodon.com/p/3378-01.html (Note the 10-inch GDU1050 and GDU1055 installed in the DA40NG use the G1000 size, not the G1000 NXI size. If I were considering this approach, I'd want to talk with "PhotoDon" about the various film options as there appear to be tradeoffs.
