A 1000 hour can take 4 guys 12 hours ish if not much is wrong. A 6000 hour you'd probably add another 4-5 hours for tap testing and master cylinder work. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes other shops a substantial amount more or less. Depends on how much they really adhere to the checklist.

Are you saying 4 techs at 12 hours each for a total of 48? Would that include the 100 hr annual and 1,000 hr items or just the 6,000 hr items?

I thought at one time Diamond published flat rate hours but I can’t seem to find them anywhere.

Thanks

Here are the estimated hours per Diamond: viewtopic.php?p=73683#p73683. 6000 hour would be the 2000+MSI.

In the Diamond estimates the number is all inclusive. The 2000+MSI includes an annual. Note that my MSI came in at fewer hours than the Diamond numbers. Closer to the 48 suggested here. Performing along with an annual will reduce the total time (and cost.)

I assumed it was for a DA20, but I see his tail is a 40. I've never had to do a 1000 or 6000 on a 40 so I'm not sure but I don't think Diamond's estimates are unreasonable.
