I am in the market to buy one. I reached out to some one who represent buyers in Arizona. He has mentioned Fall of 2023 expected delivery time. I wonder if there is a way to expedite that if a buyer buy it directly from Canada?

In the U.S. Diamond only sells through distributors, and the distributors have exclusive territories. I'm pretty sure you are in Lifestyle's exclusive territory. That said, you could call Premier in Dallas and tell them you live in Texas...

I have a DA40 NG on order.
The Bad;
Originally for December delivery, now its set back to May 2023...
The moment someone has a running nose in the area of the Canadian Diamond factory, they have to shut down production. Last time I flew one was also at EHLE. Keep flying my Meridian and Citation Mustang ( for sale ) in the mean time.
The Good;
They did offer me a free annual for the inconvenience.
The Bad;

I’m curious when you placed your order.
I ordered in December for end of June ‘22 delivery and still don’t even have an estimate on actual delivery now. The lack of communication is surprising and concerning.

I ordered a DA40, May 2 2022 with a Jan 2023 delivery. However I just got notification that is will now be May, 2023. It looks like a 12 month lead time now. There is a spreadsheet if you haven't already added yourself that is tracking the orders and delivery times. It can be found here:
