Updating Garmin Databases Question

Updating Garmin Databases Question
So I recently took control of a DA-62 and the program associated with the aircraft. I need to update the databases with the SD cards, but I don't have the plans associated with my flyGarmin account. I think they are with the pilot before my but I can't get ahold of him. Any suggestions?

Can't you just open your own account and purchase the databases? When I bought my plane a couple of years ago, I just started from scratch with a new Garmin account. Maybe I don't understand your issue.

I have had to move a plan before. Just call Garmin, tell them the aircraft tail number. Give them the reason for the transition. They can move the aircraft to your account. It should only take one call and 5 minutes.
