I have the Beringers in my G6 Cirrus. They will lock up and destroy your tires. Don't ask me how I know.

It's pretty audible when they lock and in my syndicate generally means people trying to exit the runway too quickly! (Sub 300m ground roll). I would agree easy to damage tyres but I would still rather have that and use common sense than have Cleveland which provide virtually zero retardation (on a Cirrus).
