Are customs duties due for maintenance out side the USA? If so what would be taxed? Parts or labor?
I called the cbp and they weren’t sure.
Finally ready to bring my airplane home and I don’t want any snags in customs at KBLI.

I don't know, but I do know that I cleared customs in Cleveland after flying down from the factory and the CBP officer did not ask what I was doing up there or anything related to the plane. They seemed to be more concerned with a citizen returning to their own country rather than anything about the repair work that was completed.
