In the G1000 logs, field 'GPSfix' has a number of possible enumerations. Does anyone know where they're documented? Or do you know what they mean?
NoSoln = No Solution, I suppose.
3D = Appears to come on first during startup, and eventually switches to:
3DDiff = which seems to be the correct enumeration for flight.
I've also seen:
DRWAAS = which appears to have you lose ALT, but not GroundSpeed or GPS fix.
What do different GPSfix enumerations mean

Re: What do different GPSfix enumerations mean
NoSoln = not enough satellites to determine a location
3D = four satellites, the minimum to get a fix in 3 dimensions
3DDiff = 3D corrected with data from a ground station, aka SBAS or WAAS in the U.S.
DRWAAS. My guess is that DR stands for dead reckoning, using heading and speed to estimate a lat/lon position, but not 3D, no altitude. I'm not sure why it would include WAAS as a component in a DR fix.
