A1 oil cooler shroud position?

Post by soarer20 »

Trying to solve a hot running problem.

Can someone tell me if the oil cooler shroud should be touching the lower cowl? It looks too far back?

Hi Nick,

That looks about right. Not a precision fit.

So the shroud should have a about a 1/4” gap from the cowl?

Correct, I don't think any of the cowl cutouts for the radiator, oil cooler, or intake are that precise. What type of cooling issues are you running into? I sent you a PM but didn't get a reply. The PM system here flakes out on my sometimes.
