Interested in DA40 Partnership East Bay Cali

Post by Eastbayavi »

I'm a ppl with around 225 hours (15 in the DA40) who's interested in joining a partnership in a XLT, XLS, or possibly an NG at my home airport of KCCR (Concord) or close by. I would consider a dry lease also. I'm a safe, conscientious pilot who can provide glowing references from my CFIs. I would use the plane mostly for pleasure and short trips, and to get my IFR rating in the next year or two so it needs to have WAAS. I would appreciate any referrals to interested DA40 owners thnks.

Just a small correction: You don't need WAAS to get your IFR (fly an ILS). Though I agree having WAAS would be ideal.

Hi Eastbayavi!

I'm also based at KCCR and would be open to discussing a partnership (XLT/S or NG). I have a similar number of total hours including about 15 in a DA40 at a previous flying club in SoCal (8 ball) and am instrument rated.

Perhaps there's another one or two of us out there too...

I Bought into a da40 xl partnership at kccr. I suggest going on Facebook and joining the Bay Area airplane partnerships group and posting there. There's also a spreadsheet linked there with people putting their info and desired arrangements.

I'm selling a DA40 (2008 XLS, WAAS, GFC 700, Powerflow, SVT) if you're interested.
