Atlanta to Southtec, etc?

Post by dmloftus »

Annual due next month. Anyone in the Atlanta area headed to/from Southtec at the end of June or beginning of July that would like to plane pool?

Don't know if it will help, but I live in Puerto Rico and am planning to drop my DA42 at SouthTec the week of June 26. I could give you a ride to SouthTec to pick up your bird, if it was ready by then.. but not sure that's useful for your situation.

Thanks Mike. Looks like we're going the same week. I'm scheduled to drop off June 27th. Maybe we can share an Uber to KCLT if that is how you're getting home. Would love to hear some stories about your RTW adventure. Curious, why don't you go to Premier which is much closer to PR?

Actually I'm staying in the mainland while they work on the plane. Planning to rent a car and drive to Asheville (maybe Durham as well.. those are my favorite places in NC).

Happy to meet up if you want to grab a meal or something! I'll probably (weather dependent) drop my plane on Sunday (the 25th).

PS - not sure if you have a JET-A powerplant, but if not, you should consider it. KLZU has insane CAA pricing for JET-A, some of the cheapest in the country!
