DA-40 Concorde Battery replacement

My battery Concorde rg24-15m went dead after 6 years of serice. pretty good run. I cannot find this battery in stock anywhere. The rg24-15 is dimensionally the same battery except it does not have "a manifold to facilitate direct replacement of the originally designed manifold vented battery". The quotes are from aircraft Spruce's product description. In the questions section Concorde states it is basically the same battery.
The 15 is in stock. Does anyone have any experience with the 15? Thank you. Dave

No direct experience but I see that lacking the manifold the 15 is a bit shorter (0.68") than the 15M, which fits nicely into the DA40 battery compartment. So you might need to somehow shim the 15.

Thanks Rich, was able to buy the last rg25-15 that Chief Aircraft had. Alot of sites list the 15 and 15m but they do not have it in stock and do not know when they will get it. Experienced this with oil filters last summer. Yes I will shim the 15 vertically, the other dimensions are exactly the .
