CFII in New England

Post by mysands »

I had a trip planned to Colorado Springs for seven days to attend the flying physicians association meeting in my DA40, leaving Wednesday or Thursday (7 or 8th) with a mountain flying course tagged at the end. Unfortunately, my CFII, who was to accompany me, had to back out. Does anyone know of a CFII who may be interested in such a trip?

I would give TakeFlight a call. When I was last there with my plane there was a CFII that was doing all sorts of long flights with owners.

Interesting info. Where are they based at and what’s their website ?
Do they offer ride-along service for long distance flight ?

https://www.takeflightoc.com is their website.

I think the CFII arranged it himself, but they have a LOT of turnover there and there would probably be someone that was interested in the hours.

Mitch Semel at Take Flight has ferried me back and forth to Linden before. I enjoyed flying with him and would recommend you reach out. https://about.me/mitchsemel
