It has further deteriorated for me as well. For example, I had to log on (mobile) to see this message and then log on a second time to post my response. Same for workstation Chrome and Firefox. I have checked "remember me" dozens of times.

The same undesirable behavior has now popped up on my iPad (iOS version of Safari). So ALL my browsers are now having problems with this site.

Also: No other site for which I have set up auto-login is behaving this way on any of my browsers on either my Mac or iPad. Maybe a fundamental discordance between this site SW and Apple OS's.

Most of my systems that are not logging on are MS (workstations) and Android (phone).

For a data point, I fired up my Windows 7 virtual machine on my mac and am logged on to the site using IE. It seems to work OK. Not a mode I want to continue to use, however.

Hitting "Forum Home" or the other items across the top seems to be the major culprit, BTW.

OK, now it's working fine in Safari. Just in the last couple of minutes.

New data. Problem has resurfaced in Safari for no apparent reason. I did some testing and conclude from the "remember me" keys that the site is somehow not properly tracking that I'm still on the same computer. It lists numerous keys on "other" computers within the same (and current) minute, all with the same IP. This seems to happen if I select one of the selection tabs (Home. Forum Home, Control Panel, etc.) but gives me no grief selecting a topic or using "back" arrow.

What's the mechanism that the site SW uses to track which computer I'm on? Doesn't seem to be ip.

I've more-or-less quit trying for a persistent logon. I log on each time and it seems to hold for that session, sometimes for the entire day. On some topics, I have to log on again to make a comment. On others, my initial log on persists. Oddly. I have few of these issues on my Android smartphone.

I don't understand your question, Rich. The site uses the "remember me keys" (as you know) which should be saved in a hashed version to the cookie phpbb3_teqnv_sid which is the session id cookie. So maybe you were asking something which I did not understand. Can you clarify?

The cookie settings in the PHPBB control panel seem correct. Do you open DAN in various tabs of your browser?

Try to stay within the same tab. Also, clear all diamondaviatos.net cookies on your browser, clear your browser cache and login again and let me know if the problem persists.

EDIT: when you open a diamondaviators.net-URL does a session id show up in the URL in the address bar? If so, you might have some privacy settings on your browser which donĀ“t allow setting cookies.

Cookies are allowed. I cleared cache and cookies and retried. Not using tabs. Session id does appear after login. But selecting "Forum Home" wipes it out. Logging back in causes a new session id.
