don't know for the DA20, but the parts cost list for the DA40 can be found on some post here, and the plexi part of the canopy is $6,142

I don't have a current price list, nor a complete one - but the 2013 price list only shows part number 20-5600-02-01 Canopy, Plexiglass, Grey Tint EA $3,568.95 01/07/13 R.

Welcome to the world of certified aircraft parts pricing. In addition, I think we are frequently the victim of Euro-USD exchange rates, although I don't see the pricing tied directly to that - otherwise prices would change daily. Shipping costs even from Canada to the U.S are outrageous at times. I can't imagine what they would be to Barbados. If you have an A1, I don't know if that would be available from Canada or from Europe - there is limited support from DAI for the A1's anymore. If the parts were small, I could bring them to you when I fly to BGI ;)

DA20-C1 as of December 4200.00 Canadian
XU and Diamond quoted about 9000 to remove and reinstall the glass in the canopy.

I got similar quotes about three years ago. I also found a couple entire canopies at salvage houses for around $2500, though crating and shipping would add $500 (within the US).

I believe Section 56-10-00 of the AMM covers both the canopy and windows replacement. It ain't fun removing.

I don't know about the windscreen but apparently the "storm" window on the side of my DA40 canopy is $1,638.56 including the hinges and lock!
