Landing pattern

Hi,

I was reading the other topic in DA40 on landings and based on the numbers presented on the MP, with reference to the AOM, I find them suitable only for wide school patterns.
When I fly tight patterns, I find it optimal to focus on speeds and use MP guidelines only as a mental reminder.

I was amazed how agile DA40 is, and you can fly it with ease in quite tight patterns such as discussed in this video by AvWeb https://youtu.be/f6q2VKsvQEQ

However, I would like to hear opinion on if you patterns you fly, related speeds and MPs of the experienced crowd here.
