Re: GTX345 and missing traffic targets
I have strange situation with GTX345 and G1000 and TAS. After recent upgrade (GIA63W and GTX345) G1000 stopped showing traffic, even the one detected by TAS. According to installation plan, G1000 was supposed to show both ADS-B/In and TAS detected traffic but it shows none. At the same time GTX345 sends traffic information via Bluetooth to ForeFlight and it’s shown there correctly. The aircraft is DA42 TDI and the software is upgraded to latest V15.11 software. Any ideas?

Re: GTX345 and missing traffic targets
Sounds like the G1000 has not been configured to take the GDL90 traffic from the GTX-345. This could have been misconfigured during the upgrade, as it's an option. You can check the AUX page, see if the GDL90 shows up there. If not, then it needs to be configured. If it's there but with a red X, there may be a misconfiguration on the GTX-345 side. Unfortunately that requires going back to the shop to change the configuration with a laptop. Hopefully everything is all wired up properly.

Re: GTX345 and missing traffic targets
Thanks. I don’t remember seeing GDL90 traffic at AUX page but I definitely know that there wasn’t any red X at AUX page. What’s strange is that traffic is there when aircraft is on the ground. Going to shop will have to wait for few weeks, I can live with traffic on iPad.mhoran wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 4:47 pm Sounds like the G1000 has not been configured to take the GDL90 traffic from the GTX-345. Re: GTX345 and missing traffic targets
I had something similar happen. But there would be a traffic fail annunciation when the traffic disappeared, and the corresponding red X. If no red X it's definitely something different. Only other thing I can think of is traffic filtering is enabled on the G1000 but not on the iPad.

Re: GTX345 and missing traffic targets
It’s set to unrestricted on the panel and I don’t know whether there’s other place for filtering.

Re: GTX345 and missing traffic targets
Double check your ARINC429 speed as per viewtopic.php?p=90843#p90843. This is a silent failure except for an annunciation and missing traffic. The speed of the uplink to the GTX345 must be set to high.
