Great idea. I'll try to attend whenever you schedule it since I'll be flying all summer anyway. Thanks for the initiative!

Love the FlyIn but ...
EARLIER say March/April if Texas ( to avoid 105 deg temps)
OR
New England if summer ... love some Lobster!

Great idea! Following.

(Sorry Wayne - no airport at Banff open for public use. But Fairmont CYCZ is a nice tourist town with an adjacent strip if you want to visit the Canadian Rockies).

I believe August or September would be a good time to do this.
Interested!

Some here may have noticed in Diamond Canada's February 2021 customer letter from CEO Scott McFadzean:

"Diamond Aircraft is planning a Diamond Owners Summit for summer 2021, so please stay tuned for additional information and dates as we finalize the details for this event. Let's all hope it can be in person, rather than virtual."

I'm assuming if this happens in-person, it'll be held at the factory at the London, Ontario CYXU airport.

Interested! But sorry, not Texas in the summer. Are there potentially events in the Midwest/Plains states (where it is not miserable hot) that the fly-in could coincide?

Killeen isn't such a bad choice temperature-wise. My parents and younger siblings lived there for years and I have visited (end even flew my PA28) there in the summer.

Right now, I wouldn't mind it - last week it was 11 degrees in San Antonio, no electricity for 48 hours, no water for 24 hours, then couldn't drink it without boiling for 2 days. Thank goodness I have a fireplace and an emergency generator...

Canada, even if open, won't work for those of us who fly on Basic Med. I'm fine with Texas in the summer. Of course, I grew up in Florida. Bernie
