You can also check Turo.com, they seem to have cars available. If you haven't used it before, it's like AirBnB for cars.

I dug into that and it looks impractical in this case, as none of the cars are usefully located. But something to keep in mind in other cases. Our need for ground transportation this time is pretty minimal anyway. Anyone besides Russ and I coming in Saturday? Trevor, you in?
I’ll be bringing a folding table and 4 collapsible chairs.

Rich - Best to put me down for just Sunday at this point. My DA42 is down with a frustrating left engine turbo issue that's taking forever to diagnose and sort out. It may be resolved by the end of this week but the process so far would suggest it will take longer. If I don't get my ride back, I may be able to get a ride down with another Seattle pilot but he would only be there on Sunday.Rich wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 4:28 pmI dug into that and it looks impractical in this case, as none of the cars are usefully located. Looking forward to it! Just need to juggle a couple of things.

I don't really see any food options nearby - anyone have any experience with lunch around that airport?

I figure to order Pizza or BBQ or something delivered on Sunday. McMinnville is a college town. No doubt there'll be options.

There's a restaurant called "The Diner" which looks like a 35 minute walk or a $9 Uber ride from the airport. I haven't tried it before, but it has decent reviews. Delivery sounds like a good option, though.

Is this event migrating to Sunday? If Rich and I are the only ones there on Saturday, maybe we should just shift to Sunday. I can fly up earlier on Sunday morning, spend the night and fly home Monday morning.

I think it's been planned for Sunday since Rich posted this:
If there are folks in town on Saturday, I will probably drive over and join for dinner and/or drinks that evening. Otherwise I was planning to fly in for lunch and the museum on Sunday.
Planning events is obviously not something I'm good at, so I'll defer to Rich if he has a particular schedule in mind.
