If we had not recently sold our DA62 that shipped new with NXi in 2017, it looks like we might have finally received Garmin-advertised NXi features from 2017 like Visual Approaches and Surfacewatch via Phase III software in 2023 -- SIX YEARS after delivery.

We sold our DA62 and bought an Epic E1000 GX (which also has G1000 NXi and GFC700) to get all the Phase III features that Diamond never managed to deliver. There's obviously much more to our decision -- which would better be discussed in a separate thread.
