Not much wait at all. I wish they would shift more build allocation to North America...

Hi Bryce
So the delivery date currently stands at the 11th April
Which really isn’t bad at all. I am sorry that my North American cousins have to wait so much longer.
Do you have yours already or waiting for the delivery

April isn't too far away, thats great. I am scheduled for summer of 2023 so I'm a ways out. I spoke with my dealer yesterday and he said in NA all of the expected DA62 deliveries for 2021 were in fact delivered, so thats great news. He also said Diamond is doing another price increase and those numbers should be reflected an a new pricing sheet in the coming weeks.

Ok so that’s good news you got in before the price increase.
What configuration are you going for ? I chose the Darker blue and black seats , it’s not so original but I think it will look nice. 🙏
Also went for the 5 seat option. I don’t honk I will have 7 people on the plane often enough and the extra baggage space could be useful. 🤔

Yes, glad my price is locked in. I haven't gotten around to picking colors yet. I am getting the 7 seat layout since I have 4 kids. Currently have the Bonanza 36 and actually fly with all 6 seats filled a fair amount of time. I may end up buying the tray to convert into 5 seats, but will wait a while after delivery to decide. My wife and I travel with mountain bikes in the back of the Bo several times a year and seat removal is really fast and easy. Ill have to get some thick blankets to protect the seats snd seatbacks from the bikes when I get my DA62.

Yup -- we've folded down both middle and rear row of DA62 seats, covered the seat backs with a blanket, and placed 2 full-size road bikes back there without having to remove any of the wheels. :)

My kids are a bit older and I only have 2, I think the 5 seats will be sufficient. I did discuss with them and the Seats can be removed so I was torquing with the idea of getting it configured for 7 and then just removing the back row. But in the end I will more often than not be flying with my dog so will make it an area for her to be able to be comfortable I think 🤔

It’s my first plane so I don’t really know how I will be using it yet.

Hopefully a lot !!!

For Europe 5-seater with 1999 kg MTOW is much better version, since it saves you a lot on Eurocontrol IFR airway fees. Yet you still fly the same aircraft (in reality 2300 kg MTOW).

Are 5-seat DA62s delivered in North America certificated at 1999kg or 2300kg MTOW?
