I am based at FHR (when possible). It is an easy walk into town from the transient parking and lunch at Market Chef is always superb. If you get stuck out there I have a two bedroom condo I can unlock via the 'net so you don't have to sleep in the pilot lounge at the airport.

Re: DA40 in Seattle area?
I'm new to the forum and to DA40s. I bought N342AF (the airplane formerly leased back to Rainier) and took it down to Bend for a few months. Pretty sure I saw Rich in the pattern at Prineville.
The plane (and me) are currently at KORS but I'm hoping to find a spot at BFI-- like everybody else, sounds like
Really loving the plane so far, and really thankful for all the wisdom in this forum. Hope to meet many of you Seattle area Diamond flyers before too long.

Re: DA40 in Seattle area?
Parking came with the plane, so it was a combo deal. Otherwise... We'd probably be at PAE

You should get on the wait list at BFI if you have not already. They currently estimate 1-3 year wait.PNWIan wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 3:27 am I'm new to the forum and to DA40s. Re: DA40 in Seattle area?
Hi everyone!
I am in the Seattle area and I saw your thread talking about the planes from Galvin. Would anyone that was able to purchase one be willing to give me a ride or two in one of your planes? I have some training coming up and they use Diamond as their training fleet. I’d love to be able to get somewhat familiar before I start.
Appreciate your time!
