Mine was torn as well. Turned out my service center (Classic Aviation at KSHD) was able get a replacement easily. Long pole in the annual tent turned out to be new fine-wire spark plugs, which took nearly three weeks to get.

I checked my invoice. There was a shipping charge for the air filter that “includes customs charges.” I’m guessing it came from Canada.
