Looking to sit in DA20; Utah/Seattle area

Post by WildUnicorn »

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out if a DA20 is the right plane for me, and from all the specs I can find, it would be great. My main concern is about comfortably fitting into a small plane with fixed seats. I'm 6'3, so I'm worried it might be quite uncomfortable. I'm happy to be proven wrong, though.

I'd really like to find someone with a DA20 so that I can see it in person, sit in it, and maybe go for a quick flight.

I'm based in Logan, UT (KLGU), but I frequently travel around the state. I'm also heading to Seattle next week and would be happy to go on a day trip somewhere nearby. If any of you are nearby those areas and would be willing to meet up, let me know!

Send me a PM, jaydon134@gmail.com, or 435-979-2044. Thanks!

You are tall for a DA20 but there are foam pieces in the seats that can be rearranged or otherwise minimized.

That will possibly give you barely enough headroom.

Will your legs fit?

Maybe.

Your knees may hit the underside of the instrument panel.

You will only know if you find one to rent and fly.
