Re: G1000NXI Checklist
Russ, anyone who has read this site knows you customized the list. Of course you did. We also know you likely improved it. Please share! I’ve been trying to create a MiraCheck list for the da40 NG, but alas while I have great courtroom skills, my programming skills are frustratingly poor. It’s going to take a long time. It’d be super nice to have your work to piggyback on — again.

It won't let me post a .csv so I'll email it to you.Mjwatlanta wrote: ↑Wed Nov 23, 2022 3:39 am Russ, anyone who has read this site knows you customized the list. Of course you did. Re: G1000NXI Checklist MiraCheck
Is anyone using MiraCheckCoPilot on an Apple Watch? I really don’t want an Apple Watch as I don’t want to be that connected to the world at all times, but I might change my mind if it would talk to me and help me be a safer pilot.

Re: G1000NXI Checklist
I haven't used it for MiraCheck. I do use the Apple Watch O2 saturation feature and find it's pretty much as accurate as my $200+ Masimo MightySat.
I also have a cellular version of the watch. The phone connection is shockingly good. Nobody ever knows I'm not on a phone. I originally got it because it meant I could cycle without taking my phone and still have an emergency connection. They say the only thing you can rely upon in a crash/emergency is the things you carry on your body. My phone is usually tucked between myself and the side of the seat. If worse came to worse, I'd have the watch to call 911, and possibly a sat phone connection if the iPhone 14 was nearby and supports the connection to the watch - not clear at the moment.

Re: G1000NXI Checklist
I would be happy to check it. I’ve modified the mfd based checklist to better suit flows and timings so am well aware of how this works.

Re: G1000NXI Checklist
Hi Norm
Thanks for the offer
I posted a long reply a week ago and seems to have been lost in the Ether
I still need to document the Abnormal Procedures so will be another week if that is OK.
Like Russ, I have customised it bit to how/where I operate

Would love any comments and potential improvements

Re: G1000NXI Checklist
Outstanding! Much better than my attempt to share. I'll certainly give it a look closer to when my plane arrives.

Re: G1000NXI Checklist
Thanks, took quite a while.
How much longer until your aircraft arrives?
Unfortunately mine is q1 2024.
