Re: GTX345R installation in TDI
FIS weather shows on the 321.23 software on the DA40 in the US. The GDU v15 patch version certified for the DA42 includes a regression that disables FIS weather. There is no GDU v15 update available for the DA40 despite previous promises. While there is a v15 patch that address the FIS weather issue, I doubt Diamond will ever certify it. It has been certified for other airframes, however.

Re: GTX345R installation in TDI
All problems solved after a day of troubleshooting at service shop, rearranging the cables and ports and multiple reinstalling all software. Garmin support was needed because of some collision with ADF data.ememic99 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 1:00 pm I also installed GTX345 in DA42 TDI but G1000 doesn't show the traffic while it's shown in ForeFlight via BlueTooth connection. I collected few advices from different sites, pilots and mechanics and my shop is going trough them, comparing to what they've done. I hope they will have some suggestion during next week. If you have any advice throw it here.
As kindly pointed out by @D-GCOB, the resistor on TAS610 has been checked.
Golze ADL can transmit weather information as FIS weather using additional box. This can be interesting solution for Europe but I don't know if G1000 GDU v15.11 can show FIS weather. Any info from US?
Nest step - getting ADL weather on G1000 weather page.
