Two engines make the pilot comfortable, AutoLand makes the passengers comfortable. That combination would be preferable to a parachute.

My wish list for a future DA62 would include putting the keypad where it belongs - front and center on the lower panel.

As said by one of previous posters, Garmin has not yet implemented "AutoLand" into their G1000 NXI avionics. That said, Cirrus is probably pushing Garmin hard to implement AutoLand for NXI panels in their SR-2X series maybe as soon as next year with the possible introduction of the G7 SR generation.
AutoLand and AutoGlide are powerful alternatives to the parachute for many situations. It would level the marketing battle for Diamond against Cirrus.
