Using the word 'approach' here makes it sound like you're talking about landing approaches, not takeoffs. At least, that's how I read it the first time, which left me sorely confused. I think I've got it straight, now.
Good catch. Poor word choice. I will edit to correct.

Easy fix for this nuisance is to raise the center armrest to the upright position as soon as you place the levers in the crossfeed position. Super uncomfortable, so it is unlikely that you will forget to return the fuel levers to the normal position if you link that action to the trigger of lowering the armrest.

Kind of the same idea that old timey A-10 drivers used when they would lower their sun visor halfway while cross feeding. I understand F-15 guys would do something similar by strapping themselves backwards in the seat...

Diamond has granted exclusive territories to its distributors. It looks like you are in Canada so that would be Aviation Unlimited. Try sending an email to info@aviationunlimited.com, or give them a call.

I did get an invite last month London air show and factory tour but unfortunately I couldn't attend. I believe its an yearly event and was eager to do it before. ;)

Before COVID it was easy enough to arrange a factory tour directly. I don’t know what it’s like these days. Calling your distributor seems like a good opening move.

Any idea who I should reach out to if I already own one? I have my customs sticker but haven't been to Canada yet... Would love to show my 7 year old how the sausage was made.
