Luca also made a comment on the call for us all to expect a massive improvement in Diamond customer service over the coming year. He basically said to judge them in a year on how much better it has become.

I stand corrected: I should have said it's G1000 Total Service time.Boatguy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 12:29 amHobbs or "service" aka "flight"?photoSteveZ wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 10:29 pm Group 4 owners like me (twin-engine aircraft with engines that may be subject to both failure modes) can delay implementation for as long as 1000 hrs Hobbs time in service.

I caught that comment, but I was starting to doze off by that point in the two-hour-plus call: I'm glad I wasn't dreaming it.hifiaudio2 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 3:10 pm Luca also made a comment on the call for us all to expect a massive improvement in Diamond customer service over the coming year. Re: New MSB about to be issued
What call is this you speak of? The only one I'm aware of is the first, original conference call for the dealers and fleet operators. It sounds like you are referring to one for owners. How did you guys find out about a subsequent call?
If any more call opportunities come up please consider publicizing it here. Thanks.

I was called by John Armstrong at Lifestyle, and I believe Premier customers also had a call. I think the big gap is those who bought their plane used used and never dealt with any dealer. If that's your situation, try arranging a call with your IA and Ed at Diamond Canada support.Soareyes wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 8:29 pm What call is this you speak of? Re: New MSB about to be issued
Over the last 17 years I've purchased 4 new Diamonds from Premier in Ft. Lauderdale. No call.
I did approach them today at the AOPA Hang Out in Tampa and encouraged frequent, regular communication from Diamond Central with everyone affected. Among other things, I would be interested to see a running tally of how many engines on the affected list turn up with high aluminum in the oil; 10%, 50%, 90%? Also a regularly updated count of how many engines have been replaced, how many planes are AOG?

Diamond has said our planes could fly up to 15 hours from a certain date, while waiting on oil analysis. What is that date?

October 24, 2022. 15 flight (aka service) hours, not Hobbs.hifiaudio2 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 07, 2022 8:42 pm Diamond has said our planes could fly up to 15 hours from a certain date, while waiting on oil analysis. What is that date?

I was invited to log onto the call via email from Premier.Boatguy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 05, 2022 9:41 pmI was called by John Armstrong at Lifestyle, and I believe Premier customers also had a call.
