Open JDM. It showed up as an alert within JDM. In any case you go to the Jepp site and download/install the new version.

BTW, in my case it's updating the proprietary cards for the GNS units.
I used 3.13 (Build 90) and I haven't got any update alert as I used to get in the past. So I downloaded and installed new version 3.14.0 (Build 60) and everything seems to work ok.

As previously posted. Hence my workaround of using iOS/iPadOS w/wombat.
Bad Elf Wombat (piston and turbine editions) has been “out of stock” for like forever….

Bummer. I've long wondered whether the limited purpose (hence market) for this particular device would come to make its production die out. Not knowing the details it would seem an approach like this would be feasible for both Garmin and Jeppesen for both phones and tablets:

Certainly standard media (SD, USB drives, etc.) works in this scenario.

According to Bad Elf the problem wasn't with demand but with their contract manufacturer which did not survive Covid.

This month's update did not produce the wealth of status messages and just proceeded fine as it used to. In the interim I changed the port replicator (not shown) and the Skybound-> USB-C adapter I use:

I noticed today that the not-compatible banner has been dropped from Garmin's website, and the system requirements now simply read OS 10.11 or higher. My DA40 is in extended annual right now, so can't verify soup to nuts that everything is working, but seems to be a good sign.

It worked fine for me this month with a MacBook Pro M1 Max and Ventura 13.2.1.

Anybody try the update to the new MacOS Sonoma? Any issues with the database manager like last time?

No issues for me earlier today updating from my MBP running Sonoma. Lucky! I'd forgotten about the trouble last time around.

It took a couple of tries (and setting up the "Full Disk Access" correctly) before it worked for me.
