Tire inflator DA40 with pants on
I’m sure someone has a better idea, but here is my tire inflator tool. The wheel pants make getting a conventional connector to the valve difficult. This combo works great! It fits in my flight bag. And it really is easy to use - except on front wheel but it’s still easy enough. Amazon:

This is super helpful and saved me a lot of headaches! I tried to inflate without the adapter but ended up spending 1 hour (and still failing to inflate the right gear).

The part outlined in red does the trick.

I also tried the Jaco 90 degree and the Jaco angled adjustable. But the head is just too wide to attach to the stem and clear the wheel pant side. I wish I could find a shorter version of Jaco that holds onto the valve stem.

I guess there is a difference in terms of the "window" at the wheel pants -- mine is DA40 which has a rectangular window that makes the Jaco one a perfect fit, I guess DA40NG has a small, circular window from your pic though.ingramleedy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 8:52 pm IMG_4889 (Medium).jpg

I have the beringer brakes and hubs and the valve stem doesn't line up thru the access hole for the main landing wheels. I tried different extensions but found this angle extension at Home Depot did the trick. The valve inflator is shorter, while you might still need to pull the button of the pant to get it line up right.

I was wondering... would it be legal to make the hole in the wheel pant bigger?
