Mounting Insta360 with selfie stick

Has anyone had any success mounting a camera like the Insta360 or GoPro with the invisible selfie stick from the wing tie down or struts? Curious what tools/mounts are best and if there are any safety or regulatory processes to consider before doing it.

I'm curious why you would want to include the selfie stick? That makes mounting more difficult and would increase drag. There are many better options. I use the NFlightCam Exterior Ball-Head Mount for my Insta360 and GoPro's. I use that mount on the ends of the horizontal stabilizer and wings.

Trying to get a third person shot of the plane. Wing tip/tie down mounts without the stick don't fully capture the plane on low-wings and I'm trying to avoid mounting to any flight controls.

Cool angle for the videos, but what did you mount it to on the tail?

I've been thinking of mounting an Insta360 on a selfie stick to the ventral tail fin. Has anyone done this and if so can you share the method you used? I would assume that a through bolt in the tail tie down hole should be fairly secure.
