Intercom Select Switch

Anyone know how the operation of the Intercom Select switch functions? Has two positions, up - PAX I Middle, down - PAX II RH.

Very little in the way of detail in the POH.

The Intercom only support 6 microphones. This switch changes the 6th input between the middle seat 2nd and the 3rd row right hand side.
