- back window sunshield
In order to keep the plane cooler, especially my doggy in the back, I have cut out coated thermal insulation foam in the shape of the rear windows. They just keep in place like this without any further attachments. - back window sunshield

- bird nests in my diamond tail
Happy New Year AS you might remember I had to leave my Diamond DA 40 in the outback whilst we waited for a new prop. In the meantime the birds of the bush had made a new home. We have removed the skirting from underneath the elevator, so we could relocate the bird's nest. Felt very uncomfortable doing that but better for the birds. Cheers Robin - bird nests in my diamond tail

- bolzano
Bolzano, Italian Alps, a great airport to fly to. Got there from the south, through a long and beautiful valley. As you can see from the picture, make sure you enter the pattern at the correct side of the field please.. - buddy
Another photo of Buddy, he is a blue merle Australian Shepherd. - c-cvfx airborne

Over Toronto - c-cvfx airborne
By coincidence, our island is just above and to the right of the spinner. The cottage is on the rise at the right end. So exposed to weather that a float plane is not an option. - c-cvfx airborne
