A picture from about 3 weeks ago. Flying from YMAY Albury, where my daughter and I flew up to have a hamburger. Currently route from YMAY to ELW - Eildon Weir a VOR and IFR route reporting point. You can see Lake Eildon which is now only 30% full due to the prolonged drought. Still waiting for my DA 40 to come out of maintenance so we can get away for our trip. Cheers Robin - ph-ccd

The airplane has spent all of it's life outdoors. I am a bit baffled by this one too. I have no idea what could have caused this. Here are some pics. These areas are the most visually obvious but other areas are smaller bumps but with more frequency. Some areas feel like sand paper. I think I might turn this in to my insurance company. I wonder if someone was spray a chemical nearby. - paint blisters
