Rick,
I swapped the oil and fuel pressure sensors a while back and that solved the issue. Cleaning the contacts is a good first step.
Good luck!

Re: Best Compound/Polish/Wax for My Bird
Why is silicone based bad? Our airplanes are not carbon fiber on the exterior. What repairs are you worried about being impossible after the silicone is applied? I want actual knowledge, not what the internet said. Da40 is fiber reinforced composite, aka boat.

Re: Main Battery Lasted Over 3.25 after Main Tie Trip
I have been carrying the attached diagram in my DA40 for many years (actually, I had a KAP140-version before, but then updated it). Thankfully, I have never needed to reference it in flight (yet), but I have always thought it might help me sort through what to do with an electrical problem. I would...

Re: Main Battery Lasted Over 3.25 after Main Tie Trip
Kevin: Not surprising at all. The alternator was powering the avionics! With the Main Tie breaker tripped, the Essential Bus (which the battery is connected to via the Battery breaker) was not connected to the Main Bus. So, the battery was not being charged, but it was not powering anything either....

Steve,
Wow. That explains a lot. I didn't think about the essential tie still being connected and powering the avionics. Thanks for the info.

Re: Main Battery Lasted Over 3.25 after Main Tie Trip
similar experience that my battery showed, but not quite as good as yours. Still, very reassuring. https://www.diamondaviators.net/forum/post54904.html#p54904 I was at the airport when she landed. I was shocked that the voltage was just over 12 and the g1000 was working fine. I wonder if it like th...

Main Battery Lasted Over 3.25 after Main Tie Trip
One of our flight school airplanes was dispatched on a trip. During a hot start they ran the battery down low, but the aircraft started. As soon as power was applied the main tie breaker tripped. This went unnoticed by the crew until a low voltage annunciator. They flew the airplane VFR and severe c...

Re: Anyone have Bonanza experience?
Ken, I have owned a V35B for the past 12 years. I absolutely love the handling and quality structure of the Bonanza. We routinely fly 4.5 hour legs with my family and TAS is about 174 at 10,000 feet burning 12.5 gph. We have looked at upgrading to a Malibu to get pressurization, but can't justify th...

Re: Pushing down on tail to maneuver plane question/concern
Those cracks seem awfully far back to have come from pushing down on the tail. We don't push on the tail as a standard practice, but when we do it is further up the fuselage. The area in the picture with cracks looks more like someone pushing on the horizontal stabilizer.
