Good morning, does anyone have an exploded view of the DA40 nose gear? Looking to see what’s under the plate used to limit castering.

Cleaned the connection with contact cleaner. Came back to life. Odd!

Hi, I’ve got a DA40 with an IO360 and the G1000. The EGT on cylinder 4 climbed off scale with no change in CHT. Happened out of the blue on a local scenic ride. No change with advancing mixture. Any ideas?

Got a price of $7500+ each. Ouch!

Thanks for the replies. Sent to an avionics shop and evidently our G1000 is too old for displaying the weather via ADSB.

Hi, I’ve got a question on XM weather. We purchased the plane with a new G345R (adsb in/out). The Sirius isn’t active at this point. On the maps-weather data link page, it says “detecting activation”. Is there a way to remove this from the display? Did I interpret this correctly? Thanks, Charlie
