We’re having an issue with the transponder - it doesn’t switch automatically to mode ALT after take off.

The air inlets are very “leaky” and we also feel a very slight draught from the centre bottom are of the rear door

Oil leak from turbocharger?
Has any experience of this? DA40NG Austro 800TT Our engineer has found an oil leak from the high pressure side of the turbo. He suspects Oil leaking into the pressure side of a turbo charger can only come from one source, the centre bearing seal. I’ve not heard of this before. Any idea on repair cos...

The email hasn’t actually answered your question. Or i suppose raised another one. If we accept that EASA and FAA have different interpretations and hence EASA is paper times and FAA is G1000 time this raises another issue. How can we go about formally doing this. If it’s a 10-15% difference then that’s a significant amount of needless servicing across the fleet?
