Thanks for the advice etc - with my dog and carrying the baggage I need to, the 5 seat version works well for me, a 4 seat version is tempting but on occasion I do use the 5 seats but it’s a real squeeze with 3 in the back. I think the problem of more comfortable seats isn’t a hard one to solve with...
