Re: Delivery?
I have now taken delivery of 2 Diamonds. A DA40NG 2 years ago... and 3 weeks ago a DA50RG. My dealer is LifeStyle. Both times they sent very good people. In particular this time they sent Franklin Steele who is a 2000 hour gold seal instructor... in addition to Sam Linton. Both of these guys are qui...

Re: DA50 vs The World
The data shows exactly opposite what you are arguing on Cirrus. I see a bunch of people blabbing about data.... I am not sure that I have seen much in the way of anything that looked like a reputable analysis. But Im sure that given this is the internet there is such a thing. But more seriously, I ...

When practicing stalls and recovery from unusual attitudes you really have to wrestle it to do anything but keep flying. Range is an issue only on about 1%...

Last year I posted on my first year https://www.diamondaviators.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8861 .... here is my second. After getting the plane back from Annual last year I have flown another 391-ish hobbs hours. In that time I finished my CFI ratings and my wife and I flew to the Bahamas, Florida, a...

Re: DA50 vs The World
For anyone that has ordered or is flying a DA50, I'm wondering why you selected the aircraft? What were the elements of the plane or the company that factored most in your decision? 1. I wanted to buy a DA62 but my wife wanted a single That's unfortunate. If you can afford $1M+ for a new DA50, a DA...
