They are taking production to 150 units per year? Compare that to Tesla Model 3 being produced at 5,000 units per week. This is why aircraft cost so much.

For the past decade, all of the GA manufacturers together (globally) have only been producing about 1000 fixed-wing piston aircraft per year.
Too small a number to invest in automation, or even re-certification for potential changes and improvements.

No mention of Lycoming powered DA40's. I guess that is good for prices, but neutral for support.
