+1 on the Diamond Backpack. I wish these were available in the states. I had it delivered to a friend of mine in France who brought it with him when he came to visit me in the States (pre-Covid). Very nicely made backpack.

Re: Flight Bags Saga
I use a couple of these Flight Gear HP Quick Cases in the airplane. I keep cleaning supplies and fuel testers in one located in the nose baggage compartment and I carry one with my to and from the airplane. It has room to carry my iPad mini (the smaller iPad pro fit too) and all the snacks I need for a flight. A bottle of water fits nicely in there too. It's a great place to toss any small detritus that accumulates over the course of the trip and when you're done it's easy to clean out.

My CFII used to use one too before he went to the heavy metal. Maybe he still uses it... Not sure.
Too bad sporty's discontinued them... I've have a backup that I ordered from the transair.co.uk people and the shipping to the US was fast and I don't recall it being too expensive.

Re: Flight Bags Saga
Unless that bag has wheels it would carry all the snacks I need on a flight.
I'm kidding. A single bag of peanut M&M's has usually gotten me to the next landing.
