Weird - it now says no serious injuries reported but that the two are in critical condition Other reports say "non-life-threatening injuries"

I'm curious how the ditching went. Did they flip? How did the egress go? I've always wondered about how that would go in a DA40 living around water here.

This is the first water landing I have heard about. Listening to the video, sounds like it went well and the pilots reasonably safe. Good to know.

ChrisB compiled a list of pre-2016 DA40 ditching events in this thread. It doesn't seem like any of them flipped over on splash-down.
