Re: Cont. engine rebuild
You might contact Alan Depauw (alan at overhaulbids dot com). He has set up a kind of brokerage that solicits bids from many vendors to get you the best price and service. He then posts results and CSAT data. He has the benefit of adding his personal experiences with many vendors.
Alan is also an honest guy. He talked me out of rebuilding by TSIO-360. Tell Alan that Bob Tucker said hello.

Re: Cont. engine rebuild
My engine rebuild was done by Central Cylinder Service Inc 6315 Lindbergh Drive Omaha NE. Rebuild was ordered in 2012 by the previous owner of my aircraft so I don't have cost or other details. I bought her immediately after the rebuild. Very happy with the quality of the rebuild - engine has been purring with excellent compressions and oil analysis since.

Re: Cont. engine rebuild
Are you sure you need a rebuild? If you're flying under part 91 (non commercial), I'd only recommend a rebuild/overhaul on an as needed basis.
If you make power, your oil consumption is within spec, and you're not making metal; you don't need rebuild.
