I went to post something this morning and could not. I got a message that says:
Your IP 199.7.135.18 has been blocked because it is blacklisted. For details see (followed by a URL to spamhaus.org).
This seems to affect only my ability to post to this site. I get around it by using my phone hotspot, so the routing is different and I can post to the site.
My local provider can't seem to diagnose where in the downstream routing this might be occurring. Any insight would be helpful.
Blacklisted?

Re: Blacklisted?
I did a little more digging. It looks like it might be coming from my provider's equipment:
richs-macbook-pro:~ rich$ host 18-135-7-199.prinetime.com
18-135-7-199.prinetime.com has address 199.7.135.18
Prinetime is my provider. The guy I've been speaking with here might not have the right skill set, so I'm feeding him data as I find it.

Re: Blacklisted?
Looks like it's cleared up now. Thanks to Chris and my provider. The latter I had to prod with information a few times.

Re: Blacklisted?
Same thing happened to me when I was on hotel wifi. Switched to my mobile and it worked fine. I'm guessing someone has been using that network nefariously. Not sure how your home private IP could get blacklisted, unless...

Re: Blacklisted?
It was a server used by my provider in combination with the behavior of the security provider.Davestation wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 3:10 am Same thing happened to me when I was on hotel wifi.
