Mark -
I would be interesting to cross check the list of Diamond owners (by "N" number) to DAN members to see (roughly) what percent of owners are members.

Re: Diamond Aircraft Owner Census
As a non-g1000 owner, I did fill out the survey, but in retrospect I should have answered a couple of the questions differently. I answered from my own perspective: not interested in full glass panel of any type, 73 years old, this is my last airplane, pretty satisfied with my upgrade options, etc,
I should have answered based on what I perceive to be the best interest of Diamond owners (current and future) and the company itself.

Re: Diamond Aircraft Owner Census
Rich, you answered as the survey is intended to be answered -- it's what individual owners are thinking about with respect to their airplanes.Rich wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2020 2:58 pm As a non-g1000 owner, I did fill out the survey, but in retrospect I should have answered a couple of the questions differently. Thanks for answering, and thanks for your support of the petition and survey!

Re: Diamond Aircraft Owner Census
Sure. Just send me a spread sheet with the DAN member info and I'll merge it with the FAA data to see what % are members.

Re: Diamond Aircraft Owner Census
If everyone contacted their maintenance shop and asked them to send an email with the survey link to all Diamond owners they have on file that could be a start.

Re: Diamond Aircraft Owner Census
Your answer is fully valid and that’s the way how anybody should answer. Survey results should reflect real situation and real interest of owners.Rich wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2020 2:58 pm As a non-g1000 owner, I did fill out the survey, but in retrospect I should have answered a couple of the questions differently. Re: Diamond Aircraft Owner Census
Diamond may have done that. I work with several shops and they said they had received a notice. Here was the reply from one of them:
It's about time! They sent out an email to all of their partners last week asking us to tell our customers about it. I forwarded the letter from Scott and the survey link to everyone today.
