I went through the same process with my DA40NG in August 2019. Yes, it's there, and they need to clean up their documentation to be consistent with the current way the DA40NGs are built. You probably don't need to pay for the IA examination.

Re: Da40ng useful load vs max takeoff/max landing load
I noticed in my POH that if MAM 40-574 is installed that the wheelbase is expanded from 1.68M->1.85M also known as 14 inches in real units... so you could measure.

The AFM should include the original weighting report, including the station offsets for the nose wheel and mains. Subtract one from the other. The resulting wheelbase should be obvious.

Re: Da40ng useful load vs max takeoff/max landing load
BTW, the difference between the two wheelbase values is only 17 CM, which is 6.7 in., not 14. The conversion in the manual is incorrect. 1.85 m = 6 ft, 0.8 in, not 6 ft 8 in.

Re: Da40ng useful load vs max takeoff/max landing load
I have noticed at least one other math error in the POH. That nuts.
There are some places where someone should teach them significant digits as well.
Obviously I was joking about the units... but this units thing in aviation is a sucky situation.
