After the recent annual I noticed this foam strip starting to extrude from both sides of the fairing between the vertical and horizontal stabilizer. I took the fairing off, reattached the adhesive foam but within a few hours of flight it came back out and starting disappearing.
Important? Forget about it?

Re: Foam Strip - Fairing
I’ve never noticed foam there. I could swear there is normally a rubber edge protection on that fairing unless I’m just thinking of the DA40. All it does is keep it from chafing the paint.
