DAN server unreliable

DAN server unreliable
Our server has been a bit unreliable during the last 12 hours and we are working hard to find out what has happened. My apologies for the inconvenience.

Although we didn't fully understand what made our server crash, it looks it is running stable now.

Max, indeed we had a problem and I wasn´t aware of it. It seems that controller.com has changed its search syntax and our script got stuck. It was sorted out today.

I wasn't able to access this forum at about 9pm GMT last night, nor at 7am this morning. Was this due to the known problem?

The server has the tendency to heat up. Last night it was down again at 19:20, my coder rebootet this morning at 04:00 when he got up (in China) but then it was down again because our server provider ran some tests at 7:00. All hardware was o.k., just the CPU seems to overheat. They added some cooling paste. Hope that fixes the bug.
Meanwhile we have installed some monitoring software and now we will find out earlier when the server crashes. If the server isn't stable now, I hope our provider will give us another one or I'd have to change to another server provider.

Geesh... here we go, we need another test, probably on May 11th, 8:30 - 11.00 GMT. But at least they might give us a new server if it fails again.
I would like to inform you regarding server BFRN001.
Another test would not be needed. If the server goes down again the
server will be replaced. Please refer to this ticket if the server is
down again so my colleagues already know that the server is tested.
If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
